Working Member Opportunities for the week of June 9, 2008...and beyond...

1. MUSICIANS The Co-op is planning a fundraising concert to be
held the evening of Friday, July 25. Linda Warnaar and drummers have volunteered to
be a part. We are looking for 2 more musical groups to donate a 45 minute set for this event.

2. $500 challenge! Organize an event to raise $500 (or thereabouts) to
donate to the Co-op to assist in reducing historic vendor debt. Examples of on-going
challenges:

50/50 cash raffle.
Bottle Drive.

Contact members Amanda Weisenfeld (748-3189) or Vicki Moore (748-2655) if you think
you would like to do this--other ideas: car wash, yard sale, bake salesŠ..

3. Donate Cash.

4. Bulk List Compiler. This task requires someone to come in and write
down all of our bulk numbers and item names. The list will then be added to our
website. Work at your own time and pace.

5. Bake a big birthday cake for 7/25 party.

6. Reporter needed to record photographically and in words all that we are doing here
and submit this to the media on a regular basis.

Community Links!

This is a collaborative program between 3 local food co-ops and a natural food store.
We print over 3000 brochures distributed through out Northern Vermont. St. J.
Food Co-op member, Deborah Goldberg, is leading this project and is looking for a
working member assistant to contact potential listers in the brochure. If you are
interested in helping please contact Deborah.
